Who We Are

At Double Mint Imports, we specialize in importing right-hand-drive classic vehicles from England to the United States. With years of experience, we've helped enthusiasts import a wide range of unique and desirable classics. We handle the entire import process from start to finish, giving you complete peace of mind while ensuring your new prized possession receives the highest level of care every step of the way.

 

We only import car models that are at least 25 years old. Building a market towards a set of owners who love cars and love to stand out and have something different.

 

Founder, Raphael Hickling turning a passion into a company that can reach the wider audience of car enthusiasts. Opening up to the idea of owning a Right Hand Drive car in a Left Hand Drive world. After all, they both mechanically are the same!

 

Based in Brooklyn, importing cars, bikes and parts is what we do. From the rarest RHD models that were only sold in UK or Europe. Our Mercedes 190E is the prime example for this. The imported 1989 model has a 2.0L engine and 5-speed manual setup - a version that would not otherwise be available here in the States.

    • Washing the underbody, ready for US roads

    • Making the car is insurance ready for its destination US state or territory

  • A reliable freight company is sourced, tailoring it to your preferences.

  • Adding the vehicle to the International Registration Marker or offering DMV guidance for registration.
